Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi

Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi – painter, performer, visual artist. Studied at Harvard University and the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Her work explores questions of authority and images of people, buildings and structures of power, as well as the history and heritage of South Africa. Her pieces have been exhibited at Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, Tate Modern in London, the Standard Bank Gallery in Johannesburg, and the Contemporary Art Museum in Rio de Janeiro, among other venues.
